Chapter 1: Meet Maggie Gentry

               

               Maggie was left at the hospital the day she was born and ever since then she has been passed from one foster home to another until the day she was old enough to leave the foster system.

                One night after she was leaving her part-time job she found a book on the mat of her front door. As she picked it up and took it in her little one bedroom house that she earned enough money to get. She sat her purse and keys on the table by the door and took the book with her to the couch and sat down and opened it. What she found in the first 30 pages were names and birthday of 100 people and her name was the last one in the book. After the list of people in this book was a story that told of a family curse that would last 100 generations, of switch the last born female child born would have 100 children. Along with all these rules that had to be followed or the curse would continue for another 100 generations.  She couldn't believe this curse but she wondered if this was a book about her family, as she continued to read this book she got to the last page and saw a picture of her and written under her picture was the description Maggie Gentry Generation 100, the last to give 100 babies to the world.

                She couldn't believe what she was reading but she couldn't help but wonder if all these people in the beginning of the book was her family. Since there wasn't any last names she figured their mother gave us all up for adoption when we were born, after all who could care for 100 children.
